To satisfy the need for more flexible supplies, we developed a call-off-order system similar to our skeleton order system:

Customers can call off orders at short notice and at low additional costs without loosing economy of scale in production of the respective items.


How flexible is Prefag with this call-off-order system?

1. The customer places a call-off order considering the requirement of max. 12 months.

2. The total quantity of the call-off order or, where agreed, a partial quantity is released for production and serves as pricing basis.

3. The customer informs Prefag in the call-off order about the planned first requirement of the product and about delivery frequency. According to packing units and shipment value customers and Prefag agree upon delivery sizes.

4. After an agreed upon initial phase Prefag ensures that supplies are available at short notice. A 20% deviation from the first approx. planning will be covered by Prefag.

5. Max. order term is 12 months

6. Order terms are starting from the initially agreed and in the call-off order fixed deliveries. After expiration of the order term Prefag is entitled to ship remaining quantities.


How fix is Prefag pricing?

1. Our prices are fix prices for deliveries as specified in the order confirmations. After that date Prefag is entitled to adapt prices according to effective cost increase for deliveries after 1st April. Increases are limited to max 70% of the increase of the total labour costs in the metall processing industry in Baden-Württemberg. Increases beyond this limit shall be explained by Prefag.
